A self-taught photographer, Laila Yasser has been taking photos for over eight years. What started out as a fun pastime for her soon became a passion for more. Laila has been professionally pursuing photography for three years. She uses her camera to combine her love for music and travel, with her work mainly made up of music and nature photography. She also has a soft spot for original and intriguing architecture, as well as street photography.
Her portfolio includes working with Funk OFF, an Egyptian independent pop rock band, as well as the African musicians collective, The Nile Project. She won Photopia Cairo’s photography contests ‘Reflections’ and ‘Colors’ in 2015.
